Resources for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) 

International Medical Graduates (IMGs) refer to our postgraduate doctors and dentists in training who qualified outside of the UK. Learning from the experience of our past IMGs we know that being new to the UK or new to the NHS can be daunting but we are here to help. We are committed to supporting your training experience as you transition and we encourage you to access the support and guidance for IMGs that is available through the below resources. 

These resources will support you before you arrive in the UK, during your induction period and throughout your training. 

There is a wealth of resources available for IMGs and we have pulled together sources from other regions where the information will be of benefit to you too. 

The below resources are to assist our International Medical Graduates recruited into the NHS to make you feel welcomed, valued and supported as you transition to the UK and start your journey into UK clinical practice.
