Aviation and Space Medicine

The role of HEE in the East Midlands in the specialty of Aviation and Space Medicine is to provide administrative support and to ensure that civilian (CAA) trainees in the specialty have a Responsible Officer, who is the East Midlands Postgraduate Dean, Dr Jonathan Corne. The East Midlands local office does not have an Aviation and Space Medicine training programme of its own; currently, all trainees are recruited through the Royal Airforce or the Civil Aviation Authority.

Please be advised the Defence Dean is the Responsible Officer for RAF trainees.
